Recover arrows that miss their target. When arrows hit the ground instead of enemies, they drop as items you can pick up. Fully configurable drop rates.
Arrows Drop On Miss brings arrow recovery to Hytale. When you fire an arrow and it misses every entity, it drops as a collectible item at its landing spot instead of vanishing.
Configuration Options
A config file generates in your world’s mods folder after first load. Available settings:
- ServerMessageAboutConfig - Shows config notification to first player joining
- AllowSignatureMovesToDropArrows - Enable drops from special abilities (can cause duplication)
- ShowModelIdInChatDebug - Debug mode showing arrow model IDs
- ArrowDropPercentageChance - Set the probability of arrow drops (0-100%)
- ModelIdsToItemIds - Custom mapping for modded arrows
Adding Custom Arrows
Use the format {model_id}:{item_id} in the ModelIdsToItemIds array. Enable ShowModelIdInChatDebug to discover model IDs when arrows land.
Compatibility Notes
This mod may interact unexpectedly with magnet mods, item pickup mods, or other arrow modifications. The author recommends testing combinations carefully to avoid item duplication.
Installation
- Download the mod file using the button above
- Place it in your Hytale mods folder:
