What Does This Mod Do?

Better Spellbooks adds a complete magic system where players cast spells through spellbooks that consume mana. The mod includes four unique spellbooks with different effects, three magic armor sets that provide mana, and a crafting progression system using the Arcane Workbench.

Each spellbook comes with different rarities, adding variety and progression to your magic gameplay experience.

Available Spellbooks

Fire Spellbook

• Casts a powerful fire-based projectile
• Designed for direct damage and impact
• Best for offensive combat situations

Ice Spellbook

• Launches a snowball projectile
• Focused on control and utility
• Useful for crowd control

Poison Spellbook

• Launches a poison projectile
• Deals 14 damage on hit
• Has a chance to poison the target for 16 seconds

Heal Spellbook

• Heals the player for 35 HP per cast
• Designed as a support-oriented spell
• Essential for sustain during combat

Magic Armor Sets

Three magic-oriented armor sets provide the mana needed to cast spells:

Cindercloth Armor Set

Fire-themed armor crafted with Cindercloth Bolts at the Arcane Workbench.

Frostcloth Armor Set

Ice-themed armor crafted with Frostcloth Bolts at the Arcane Workbench.

Linen Armor Set

Basic magic armor crafted with Linen Bolts at the Arcane Workbench.

Crafting System

All armor sets and spellbooks are crafted at the Arcane Workbench. Each armor set requires its corresponding Bolt as the core crafting material:

• Cindercloth Bolt
• Frostcloth Bolt
• Linen Bolt

Bolts are crafted through the Arcane Workbench and are essential for progressing into magic-related gear.

1. Craft an Arcane Workbench
2. Craft Bolts for your desired armor type
3. Craft a complete armor set to gain mana
4. Craft spellbooks at the workbench
5. Equip spellbook and cast spells using your mana pool
