A utility mod that displays current biome information including zone and tier number directly on your HUD. Fully customizable position, size, and transparency with command controls.

BiomeDisplay adds a clean, informative HUD element that shows you exactly which biome you are currently in, along with zone and tier information.

Configuration

A config file is automatically created at:

  • Servers: mods/n8chur_BiomeDisplay/config.json
  • Local: %appdata%/Hytale/UserData/Saves/<world_name>/mods/n8chur_BiomeDisplay/config.json

Config Options

  • DefaultHidden - Whether HUD starts hidden (default: false)
  • DefaultPosition - Starting position with Vertical (top/middle/bottom) and Horizontal (left/center/right)
  • DefaultSize - Starting size: small, medium, or large (default: medium)
  • DefaultIsTransparent - Semi-transparent background toggle (default: false)

MultipleHUD Compatibility

When the MultipleHUD mod is installed, BiomeDisplay can work alongside other custom HUD mods like EyeSpy without conflicts.

Installation

  1. Download the mod file
  2. Place it in your Hytale mods folder
  3. Enable the mod in your world settings
  4. The HUD will appear by default - use commands to customize
