Ammunition Types
Three calibers of craftable ammunition support the weapon roster:

Core Features
Reload System
Press the Ability3 keybind to reload your equipped firearm. All guns require appropriate ammunition to function.
Durability
Each weapon has limited durability that decreases with use. Monitor your equipment condition to avoid being caught without a working firearm.
Crafting Integration
Both weapons and ammunition can be crafted using in-game resources, integrating naturally with Hytale’s progression systems.
Known Issues
Dropping a gun that still has ammo loaded will result in losing that ammunition. As a workaround for vanilla limitations with ammo persistence, ammunition automatically loads when swapping to a gun rather than requiring a reload from empty each time.
