MOTD (Message Of The Day) lets server owners set up custom messages displayed to players when they join. Created by ShyNieke, this mod supports rich text formatting and multiple message rotation.
What Does This Mod Do?
Configure one or more messages that display to players joining your server. The mod randomly selects from your configured messages each time.
Text Formatting
Messages support rich formatting:
<b>...</b>- Bold text<i>...</i>- Italic text<color=VALUE>...</color>- Custom colors- Tags can be nested!
Color Values
- Hex colors:
#FFAA00,0xFFAA00, orFFAA00
Commands
/motd- Display a random MOTD message/motd list- List all messages with indexes/motd add <message>- Add a new message/motd remove <index>- Remove a message by index
