What Does This Mod Do?
Player Radar enhances the in-game compass by displaying markers for all players on your server, along with their distance from you. This makes finding your friends or tracking other players much easier.
By default, the range is set to infinite, but you can configure it to only show players within a specific distance.
How to Use
Once the mod is loaded, you’ll receive a chat message with the configuration command. Use /prrange to adjust the maximum detection range.
Configuration
The mod includes configurable settings to set the range if you only want to see players within a certain distance from you. This is useful for:
- PvP servers where you want limited awareness
- Roleplay servers with realistic detection
- Performance optimization on large servers
Setup Notes
- New worlds: Make sure to enable the mod before starting
- Existing worlds: Go to the world’s settings menu in the world selector and enable the mod
- If you don’t see the chat message when loading a world, the mod hasn’t been loaded correctly
